There was a time in my life when I would barely exercise. I am ashamed to admit that I was excessively overweight and incredibly lazy when it came to physical activity. However, a few health problems and conversations with my friends made me realize that I needed to take control of my life. It is what I have been doing for the past decade. Now I am in my 30s and I have never felt better. I am fitter, leaner, sharper and better in every aspect. It is not only my physical health that has benefited from my change, but my mental and emotional health as well.
Exercising is the best way to get healthier, fitter and more active – both mentally and physically. When I go for a run in the morning, I find that I have more inspiration and a greater desire to do the work that needs to get done. People always assume that physical activity will leave them tired for the rest of the day, but it is the opposite. You end up with more energy.
